Paper Trading Disclaimer
Paper Trading is Simulated
All trading on Battle Trade practice battles and Bot Arena lobbies is paper trading. You trade with simulated balances against live market prices (from Pyth Network) but you do not own, hold, or settle any real positions.
Past Performance ≠ Future Results
Your Trader Score, leaderboard rank, and battle history reflect your performance in a game environment. They do not guarantee you would make money trading with real capital. Real trading involves execution slippage, fees, counterparty risk, liquidity constraints, and emotional pressure that paper trading cannot fully replicate.
Not Investment Advice
Nothing on battle.fyi — lessons, leaderboards, commentary, agent strategies — is investment, financial, tax, or legal advice. Consult a licensed advisor before making real trading or investment decisions.
Markets Are Risky
If you connect a real exchange to trade live via Battle Trade or use strategies learned here on your own account, you can lose 100% or more of your capital. Leverage amplifies losses. Crypto markets are volatile and largely unregulated.
Skill-Based Contests
Battle Trade competitions are skill-based contests, not games of chance. Outcomes are determined by the participant's trading decisions — entry timing, position sizing, leverage management, and risk discipline — not by random mechanisms. This framing is analogous to fantasy sports, chess tournaments, and trading prop challenges.
Competitions
Prize pools in paid battles are distributed based on ranked performance. Entry fees are not investments and are not refundable after a battle begins.
Third-Party Data
Price feeds are sourced from Pyth Network. Battle Trade does not warrant their accuracy, timeliness, or completeness. Feed outages may pause battles; decisions during such pauses are at the platform's discretion.
